Forspoken requires 150GB of space and high configurations in PC version

After many postponements, we are finally approaching the release of Forspoken, but those who plan to play it on pc should prepare, because Forspoken makes very high demands.

Since the PS5 was announced, Forspoken, formerly known as Project Athia, has impressed players for its graphic quality, making it one of the most anticipated titles of this generation.

After many postponements, we are finally approaching the release of the title, but those who plan to play it on pc should prepare, because the title makes very high demands.

Through a broadcast to reveal more details of the game, Square Enix has confirmed that it will be possible to play Forspoken with mouse and keyboard on PC, where you can choose ultra-panoramic resolutions.

As for the technical requirements of this release, the game will require an impressive 150GB for storage space. Square Enix recommends the use of an SSD and in the upper version, an NVMe SSD.

For those who want to play Forspoken in 4K, to enjoy 60FPS at this resolution will require a GeForce GTX 4080 16GB VRAM or a Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB and 32GB of RAM, accompanied by an i7-12700 or Ryzen 5 5800X processor (3.8GHz or higher).

The requirements certainly greatly restrict the number of players with such equipment and even to play at 1440p and 30FPS the requirements are probably amazing. A GTX 3080 8GB VRAM, 24GB RAM and an i7-8700K are presented by Square Enix as the equipment needed to achieve these resolution and performance values. Forspoken will be released on January 24, 2023.

New Forspoken trailer shows 10 minutes of gameplay

Forspoken is an open world RPG game that covers the story of a girl named Frey who obtains powers through a bracelet. Previously, it was revealed that the title produced by Square Enix in conjunction with Luminous Productions has been postponed and will not arrive until 2023.

This gave room for a new trailer for the game to be unveiled, this time showing a new gameplay to publicize a bit of how the dynamics and graphics are. The video lasts 10 minutes, was captured at 4K resolution and gave you a say in how the game will perform.

Throughout the gameplay shown, you can see a bit of the fictional world of Forspoken, such as the capital of Cipal and some territories around it. Because it is an open world, the space to explore is very wide and it was possible to notice the elements used to make the character’s XP increase and even some treasures for collection.

At first, it does not seem like such an innovative proposal, but it draws attention to the number of effects and also the fluidity shown in these minutes of play. Still, it’s too early to say if the game will be good and what we have left is to wait until it hits stores so everyone has a chance to test and evaluate.
