New MacBooks of 2023 – 2024

Apple has introduced new Macs in 2023, including the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models equipped with updated M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. Apple unveiled new Mac computers and new chip to power them at their event which occured on 30th of October 2023. Here are the new out of the event, that were released:
New Devices
- 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro
- M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max chips

New Chips
Apple introduced the M3 family of chips in their 30th of October event, which brought significant advancements to their Mac lineup. Here are some key points to consider about the M3 family of chips.

Here are some key points to consider about the new MacBook devices and their M3 family of chips:
Innovative Technology
The M3 chips are now the first chips for a personal computer built using the industry-leading 3-nanometer technology. This allowed for more transistors to be packed into a smaller space, resulting in improved speed and efficiency.
Display
The M3 MacBook Pro models have the same display as the M2 and M1 models, with Liquid Retina XDR Display, ProMotion with up to 120Hz refresh rates, increased resolution/pixel per inch density, and slimmed-down bezels.
Graphics Architecture
The M3 family of chips featured a next-generation GPU that represented the biggest leap forward in graphics architecture ever for Apple silicon. This resulted in dramatic performance improvements, making the Macs equipped with M3 chips capable of handling demanding pro apps and games and complex workflows.

Dynamic Caching
The M3 chips introduced a breakthrough technology called Dynamic Caching. This technology allocated the use of local memory in hardware in real time, ensuring that only the exact amount of memory needed was used for each task. This significantly increased GPU utilization and performance for demanding applications.

Performance Improvements
The M3 family of chips delivered significant performance improvements compared to previous generations. The M3 chip offered an 8-core CPU and a next-generation 10-core GPU, providing up to 65% faster performance. The M3 Pro and M3 Max models offered even more powerful configurations, with up to a 12-core CPU, 18-core GPU, and 128 gigabytes of unified memory for the most demanding workloads.
Memory
The M3 chip includes 8GB of memory in the base model, with options for 16GB and 24GB upgrades. M3 Pro models can be configured with 18GB or 36GB of memory, while M3 Max models can have up to 128GB of memory.

Battery life
The M3 chips offer improved battery life of up-to 22 Hours, although the exact difference may vary depending on usage and other factors.
Aesthetics
The M3 MacBook Pro models are available in a new Space Black finish.
Availability
The new MacBook Pro models featuring the M3 family of chips were made available for pre-order and were expected to be delivered in November 2023. The M3 Max models were expected to be available a bit later in November.
The new Macs of 2023 represented a leap forward in terms of design, performance, and functionality. With their powerful M3 chips, stunning displays, and advanced features, these machines were a testament to Apple’s commitment to innovation and user satisfaction. Whether for creative professionals, business users, or everyday tasks, the new Macs offered a compelling computing experience that exceeded expectations. All MacBooks will be available next year with releases beginning November this year.
