AirtelTigo is currently the second largest telecommunications company operating in Ghana. It was launched in November 2017 as a result of a merger between Airtel and Tigo, two telecom operators in Ghana. The company currently has 400 retail outlets across the country and 2000 network footprints. AirtelTigo offers a range of services including voice calls, data, SMS, mobile money, and enterprise solutions.

As of today Thursday, the 22nd of June, 2023 AirtelTigo has officially change its name to AT, a move that has been long-awaited by many industry watch. The rebranding comes as part of the company’s efforts to streamline its operations, improve its service delivery and perhaps shape its path for the future without interferance of brand name of Airtel of Bharti and Tigo of Millicom. The new name, AT, reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and modernization, and it symbolizes the company’s new approach to doing business in a rapidly changing industry.
