How to enable and disable your touchscreen in Windows 10

Touchscreen enable devices are lovely gadgets as they provide more ease of access when you need it. However an uneven knock on the sensitive screen would cause a rumble of touches on your screen, making it hard or often times almost unusable.

Broken touchscreen does not mean your device is unusable. Well thats if you have a physical keyboard attached or around.

What to try if your touchscreen doesn’t work

  • Select Start, then select Settings.
  • In Settings, select Update & security, then Windows Update, and then Select the Check for updates button.
  • Install any available updates and restart your PC if required.
  • If you didn’t have any updates that required a restart, it’s still a good idea to restart your device to make sure any pending updates are installed.

If your touchscreen still doesn’t work

Follow this tutorial to disable your touchscreen and use your computer like how computers used to be used; without touch :).
