First feature phone with 4G connectivity, router and tethering

The device can support simultaneous connection of up to 8 device and still has support for Dual-SIM 4G VoLTE.

If you are one of those people who do not like smartphones and prefer a more basic device or, who knows, is looking for a gift for this category of consumer, an interesting option has just debuted in the market. We are talking about the itel Magic 2 4G (it9210), the first feature phone from itel with 4G connectivity that brings as its great differential the possibility of being transformed into a Wi-Fi router or Mobile Connection Hotspot.

The device can support simultaneous connection of up to 8 device and still has support for Dual-SIM 4G VoLTE, which puts it in an interesting position when compared to several solutions offered by Nokia in the same segment.

Another software trick that can come as an interesting extra is the King Voice function, which turns text into voice allowing users to listen to calls, messages, menu and even the name of contacts in the calendar. The feature supports 9 regional languages and the Phone book can accommodate up to 2,000 contacts. The 1,900 mAh battery, according to the itel, can hold up to 24 days in stand-by. Because it’s a feature phone, don’t expect too much on technical specifications. You can check them all out below.

The model is offered in India in blue and black, and costs the equivalent of R$ 2349 ($ 32.04). In India, it is sold with a standard 1-year warranty, promising to replace the handset with a new one for the first 100 days and offering a free screen change if the display breaks in the first year of use.

The model support only English and several other local Indian languages.
