AYANEO Announces KUN and Sli with AMD Ryzen 7 7840U Chip

AYANEO is a Chinese brand of handheld gaming computers that uses the Microsoft Windows operating system and AMD Ryzen processors. The AYANEO 2 is a Windows handheld that features a 360-degree full body design without exposed screws, a cloud-based game library, and an operating system that is optimized for gaming.

AYANEO announced this week two new handheld consoles with different proposals to the public. This is the KUN model, which arrives as a more classic-looking device compared to other models in the category, and the SLIDE, which seems to be a kind of portable notebook with action buttons of a joystick.

This device promises to bring top-of-the-line specifications to the laptop category, such as the inclusion of a Ryzen 7 7840U Phoenix APU from AMD. In this sense, the item is based on the Zen 4 architecture, has eight cores and 16 threads, in addition to the integrated Radeon 780M GPU with RDNA 3.

To give you an idea, the performance of this model is something close to the Ryzen Z1 Extreme, chip that equips the ROG Ally, from ASUS. This portable console will still have an 8.4-inch screen, as well as features such as facial recognition with Windows Hello and regions with trackpad function to move the mouse in the operating system.

AYANEO Slide

AYANEO Slide is a handheld gaming PC that is part of the AYANEO product line. Here are some details about the AYANEO Slide:

1. Design: The AYANEO Slide features a slide-out keyboard design that is reminiscent of classic handheld gaming consoles. It has a compact form factor that makes it easy to carry around.
2. Specs: The AYANEO Slide is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor with integrated Radeon Graphics, 16GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD. It has a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The battery capacity is 47Wh.

4. Release Date: The AYANEO Slide was showcased in a product sharing session in July 2023. However, it is not clear when it will be available for purchase.
