Disruption: Dropout Ghanaian Invents WaterTricycle

Frank Darko, a resident of Taadii (aka, Takoradi) in the Western Region has made his invention of a WaterTricycle. A final year Higher National Diploma Graphic Design dropout of Takoradi Technical University formerly; Takoradi Polytechnic.

Frank deferred the course due to some personal reasons; he said to Yen.com Franks invention features a frame of a bicycle thoughtfully put together with a propeller and three floating devices that primarilly ensure the healthy floatation of its occupant.

The WaterTricycle moves in active motion when powered with a ride action, just like on a bicycle. The cycling effect wirls the water against the cycling propeller and of we go on water.

According to Frank, the bicycle that was built to move on water was just one of the many things he hopes to build in future.

He revealed that his creativity came about as a result of his matchless love for science, technology and the urge to solve day-to-day problems faced by people living in the community.
