A.I Intelligence Quantum
As we become ever more reliant on cellular phones and devices to aid in our everyday tasks; rapid development into new technologies and Artificial Intelligence is underway at an alarming rate. Modern devices are now specifically designed to interact with us in ways that mimic a real human being. Applications such as “siri” and “google-cast” are providing the user with a human-like interaction experience. These companies are Creating Artificially intelligent machines.
There is a lot of optimism that the pace of quantum computing innovation will continue to accelerate, and mainstream adoption could occur by the end of the decade. Quantum Artificial Intelligence (QAI) and its subset research area Quantum Machine Learning (QML) are expected to use new quantum-designed algorithms with superpowers that result in much more powerful AI models. This is anticipated to lead to significant improvements in the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of AI, as well as the emergence of completely new and surprising business capabilities.
Quantum artificial intelligence (QAI) is an emerging field of computer science that applies the transformative power of quantum computing to the research and development of improved artificial intelligence products, such as machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and large language models (LLM).
Quantum computing potentially opens up new opportunities in artificial intelligence, particularly in the processing of very large quantities of data for tasks such as facial recognition or fraud detection. Quantum algorithms can enable faster AI, although the current limitations on the technology and software make quantum artificial general intelligence a fairly remote possibility.
Applications and Research Efforts
Leading tech companies have shown interest in the potential of quantum machine learning for future technological implementations. In 2013, Google Research, NASA, and the Universities Space Research Association launched the Quantum Artificial Intelligence Lab, which explores the use of the adiabatic D-Wave quantum computer. Google Quantum AI is advancing the state of the art of quantum computing and developing quantum processors and novel quantum algorithms.
Machines exhibiting cognitive behavior, with human-like intelligence. A machine that rises beyond human control. Something uncontrollable and irreversible, resulting in catastrophic changes to human civilization. Could it be possible that humanity will soon arrive at a moment in history when artificial intelligence outsmarts human beings, Are Hollywood movies like “the Terminator”, “i-Robot” and “space odyssey 2001” an unintentional warning that this scenario could happen within our not so distant future. These are possibilities but then so are there positive ones. Like been able to advance currently unnoticed advancements in health that would prolong our existence and more.
