Paystack issues a caution to customers in Ghana to stay away from unaffiliated website

Paystack has issued a warning to customers in Ghana to be cautious of a website operating under the domain paystackghana.com. This site is not affiliated with the official Paystack payment platform, which operates under the domain paystack.com and is a trusted payment gateway serving Ghana and other countries. The unaffiliated website; paystackghana.com pretends to offer similar services but may be attempting to deceive users into providing sensitive personal or financial information.
Paystack Ghana Limited, a licensed fintech company authorized by the Bank of Ghana, urges customers to verify the authenticity of any Paystack-related website before engaging or submitting any data. Official Paystack services deploy encryption and security measures to protect users, but fraudulent sites do not offer such protections. Customers should only use the known official website www.paystack.com or official mobile apps like Paystack Merchant to manage transactions.
We recently discovered that an unrelated website, https://paystackghana.com, is using Paystack’s name and branding without our permission. The site claims to be associated with us and refers to itself as “Paystack Service Bank.” This is not true.
