Even though it has not released an exact date, the company has confirmed that registration for next year’s edition will open in February 2025. It is now possible to register to be notified when it is possible to register.

For those who don’t know what it’s about, it’s basically an annual challenge promoted by apple with a focus on rewarding the best student projects using the Swift programming language. Susan Prescott, the company’s vice president of global developer relations, commented on the matter:

In addition, the 50 winners who achieve the most prominence will be able to receive additional recognition, even to the point of being invited to visit Apple’s headquarters, located in Cupertino.

The 2024 edition took place in February this year and followed the same characteristics, awarding 350 selected projects. In this case, the detail about the 50 winners came from a category implemented in this edition, called “Distinguished Winners”. To participate, you must be 13 years or older in the U.S.
