The Nothing Phone 2 is the successor to the Nothing Phone (1) and brings several notable improvements and changes. Distinctive Design and Transparency

The Nothing Phone 2 features a pillowed glass back, providing a comfortable in-hand feel and a distinct visual identity that sets it apart from other smartphones. The transparent design exposes the wireless charging coil, camera module, and the captivating Glyph lights, giving the phone a futuristic and individual character. The new grey color option adds a touch of sci-fi cool, further enhancing its unique appeal.

Enhanced Software and Customization

The phone runs on the Snapdragon® 8+ Gen 1 chipset and has a 6.7″ flexible LTPO AMOLED display with 1600 nits peak pixel brightness. It also features a new Glyph Interface and Powered by Nothing OS 2.0, based on Android 13, the Phone 2 offers a seamless and intentional user experience. The software emphasizes functional customization, allowing users to personalize interactions with the smartphone, from home and lock screen utility to app shortcuts and widget customization. The Glyph Interface, a hallmark feature of Nothing phones, has been further refined, offering greater control and personalization options.

Performance and Connectivity

The phone has an IP54 water resistance and charges up to 45 watts with USB-C, 15 watts Qi wireless charging, and 5 watts reverse charging. The Phone 2 boasts improved camera specifications, including a 50 MP main + 50 MP ultra-wide camera setup with smart tuning effects and Motion Capture 2.0 for AI-driven real-time subject detection. It supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and 5G connectivity. However, in the US, it is certified to work on AT&T and T-Mobile networks, with limited support for Verizon’s network.

Battery Life and Charging

The phone features a 4,700mAh battery that easily lasts about 40 hours on a single charge, with support for wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. A full charge takes less than 55 minutes.
