Showmax Ghana subscribers would not be able to pay with Mobile money payments
Showmax denying most Africans subscription payments with Mobile money option.
Showmax Ghana, the streaming service from DStv, currently does not support mobile money payments for its subscribers. While Showmax offers payment methods such as credit card, and Voucher along the ability of adding it to your DStv account, and Clientele Rewards, mobile money payments are not available for Ghanaian subscribers at this time.
Mobile money is a widely used payment method in Ghana, allowing users to make transactions using their mobile phones. However, for Showmax subscribers in Ghana, alternative payment options must be utilized. This means they have to resort to third party platforms like Visa and MasterCard in other to use the supposed updated service. A very absurd development.
It is important for potential subscribers to be aware of the available payment methods when considering signing up for Showmax in Ghana. Mobile money payment is an African ingenuity and must be re enabled to remove the unnecessary dependency on VISA and MasterCard at the payment points as if there are no better alternative that would provide comfort. This would accommodate different preferences and ensure a seamless payment experience for its users whiles deepening appreciation for our ingenuity.
