The new video cards for mobile devices from NVIDIA were officially announced on Tuesday (11). Notebooks from partner companies will be equipped with the most basic GeForce RTX 3050 in conjunction with its slightlymore powerful Ti version.
The RTX 30 line already has other global launches, and some models ended up coming to market in advance for an incredible $3,600. In contrast, the new hardware will be quoted for notebooks, with a focus on energy efficiency.

Based on the Ampere architecture with GA107-300-A1 GPU, the cards came to market with 4 GB of 128-bit GDDR6 memory, the lowest capacity of the line extending up to 16 GB with 256-bit interface, however, without sacrificing the connections with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4a.

The RTX 3050 will feature 2,048 CUDA cores, 64 tensor cores and 16 second generation cores dedicated to ray tracing, reaching speeds of up to 1,740 MHz in optimized mode, with its basic clock being 1,545 MHz.
The RTX 3050 Ti, in turn, will be equipped with 80 tensor cores and 20 RT cores. With 2,560 CUDA cores, the clock speed in optimized mode reaches 1,485 MHz with a basic speed of 1,222 MHz.
These specifications will be implemented in an extensive list of more than 140 notebook models that integrate the RTX 30 series video cards. With an extremely compact design, the hardware will be able to integrate ultra-thin notebooks, as Mark Aevermann, NVIDIA product management director for the platform, points out.
The latest wave of laptops offers the perfect opportunity to upgrade hardware, especially for gamers and creators with older laptops who want to experience the magic of RTX. Now, there are five times as many rtx 30 series gamer laptops, which are thinner than 18 mm, compared to previous generation RTX systems, providing innovative performance with very sleek, portable designs. The company announces that the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti will deliver double performance for games over the past generation thanks to deep learning technology with artificial intelligence-based renderings. In no way, more than 40 titles support DLSS, such as Outriders and Call of Duty: Warzone.
Some laptops with the integrated video card will be available in pre-order starting today in the global market with expected release, without date accuracy, for mid-June. Prices start from US$ 799 and may be announced by manufacturers such as Asus, Dell and Lenovo.
