After a string of leaks,Intel has officially launched its new 11th generation mobile processors (codenamed Tiger Lake-H), in addition to the new Xeon SERIES OF CPUs, which will be available globally starting today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flagship of the launch, commonly, is the Intel Core i9-11980HK,<\/strong>which will feature 8 cores and 16 threads in the new Willow Cove microarchitecture. Chip lithography remains in the traditional 10 nanometers with SuperFin transistors, however, the company promises speeds of up to 5 GHz in turbo mode.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, clock performance does not exceed the 5.3 GHz measured in the pastgeneration, however, performance gains in games may be remarkable, as the new CPUs directly access the GDDR6 memory of the integrated video<\/strong> cards, allowing for higher frame rates per second with lower latency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, compared to rival hardware, AMD’s Ryzen 5900HXCPU, gaming performance proved slightly higher in popular titles such as Far Cry: New Dawn and Hitman 3. It shouldn’t take a long time for several manufacturers to announce platforms equipped with the new generation, whose launch coincided with the announcement of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3050 models, also aimed at notebooks, aiming at more efficient consumption and high performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
