Using Windows over the years has proved that not having antivirus combo with the operating system can be a night mare for a heavy internet user. As relieving as it is when Windows Defender catches a spyware, virus or any of its nemesis it is very unpleasant when you have to see the list any time you visit the history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be it as that is what it was made for. In this video you get to know how to remove history from time to time when you don’t need that history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I recall on older versions of Windows Defender (now Windows Security Center) that you could clear the threat history. I have found no such way in current versions of Windows Security Center. Is there a way to do this? I am on Windows 10 1903.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delete folder Service C:\\ProgramData\\Microsoft\\Windows Defender\\Scans\\History\\Service .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
