The authority responsible for MultiChoice compliance to fair pricing has served notice to Multichoice Ghana Limited in affirmation of Section 13 of the Electronic Communications Act, 2008 (Act 775) of the Republic. This follow the posture of MultiChoice seemingly display of reluctance in compliance in relation to their unfair pricing in the country<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

August 7, 2025<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 The National Communications Authority (NCA) has served Multichoice Ghana Limited with a notice of its intention to suspend<\/strong> the company\u2019s Subscription Management Service for a Satellite Television Broadcasting (Pay TV Direct-to-Home Bouquet) Authorisation pursuant to Section 13 of the Electronic Communications Act, 2008 (Act 775).
This regulatory action is subsequent upon the company\u2019s pricing model which is deemed inimical to the public interest.
By this notice, Multichoice Ghana has thirty (30) days within which the company may present its views, or provide remedial action, and submit a written statement of its objections to the suspension of the authorisation.<\/p>National Communications Authority (NCA) <\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Will Multichoice Ghana Limited do the right thing and be fair in their pricing or be ejected by compliance, we hope they comply. Unfair pricing should not have happen to begin with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
