This guide covers Android, iPhone (iOS) and HarmonyOS devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Android and HarmonyOS Devices<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Disable Read Receipts\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open WhatsApp and go to <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to <strong>Privacy<\/strong> and turnoff the &#8220;<strong>Read Receipts<\/strong>&#8221; option.<br><em>This will prevent your name from appearing in the viewer list statuses. However, you won&#8217;t see who viewed your own status either<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>View Status Offline\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure the status is preloaded (visible in the status tab while online).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn on Airplane Mode or disable Wi-Fi and mobile data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open WhatsApp and view the status offline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Close WhatsApp completly before reconnecting to the internet to avoid being listed as a Viewer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use File Manager\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open a File Manager on your device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to Internal Storage > WhatsApp > Media > .Statuses) enable &#8220;Show Hidden Files&#8221; if necessary).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>View the images or videos from the folder without WhatsApp.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Force Close WhatsApp\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After viewing a status offline, go to your phone&#8217;s Settings and Force Stop WhatsApp.<br>This prevents your view from being registered when  you reconnect to the internet. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">iPhone (iOS) Devices<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"gtech-migrated-from-ad-inserter-placement-2\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"gtech-2514634396\"><div style=\"margin-right: auto;margin-left: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"gtech-2751702119\"><a data-bid=\"1\" data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/gtechbooster.com\/linkout\/17207\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"notrack\" aria-label=\"26001\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gtechbooster.com\/media\/2023\/01\/26001.jpeg\" alt=\"\"  srcset=\"https:\/\/gtechbooster.com\/media\/2023\/01\/26001.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/gtechbooster.com\/media\/2023\/01\/26001-768x960.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" width=\"500\" height=\"625\"  style=\"display: inline-block;\" \/><\/a><\/div><\/div><p>To view WhatsApp statuses anonymously on an iPhone, you can use the following methods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Disable Read Receipts\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open <strong>WhatsApp<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the <strong>Settings<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap on <strong>Privacy<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle off the <strong>Read Receipts<\/strong> feature.<br><em>By disabling <strong>Read Receipts<\/strong>, you won&#8217;t be able to see who has viewed your statuses of messages, but others won&#8217;t be able to see when you view theirs either.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use Airplane Mode\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure the person&#8217;s status is cached on your device (this happens when you&#8217;ve previously connected to the internet and status was downloaded).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enable Airplane Mode on your iPhone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open WhatsApp and view the status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remember that once your reconnect to the internet, your view will be registered.<br><em>This method involves viewing the status while your device is offline.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Half Swipe Method (Limited Use)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the status adjacent to the one you want to view.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Swipe left or right slightly to view the desired status without releasing your finger.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Swipe back to the previous status to avoid marking it as seen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"cls has-palette-color-14-color has-palette-color-1-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-19fc79397900bef554669c26901db741\">These method allow you to discretely view statuses while respecting others privacy settings. These methods should be used responsibly and with respect for other&#8217;s privacy.
