The satellite was launched from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California at 6:56 PM GMT<\/strong>. This achievement positions Senegal among an elite group of African nations that have developed and launched their own satellites, joining the ranks of countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, South Africa, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Angola, Mauritius, Rwanda, Egypt, and Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
