This means that the cheapest ad-free tier will no longer be available in several countries. Instead, the streaming service has introduced a new option called &#8220;Basic with Ads&#8221; to complement its existing ad-free Basic subscription. Netflix has been experimenting with advertising for a while as a way to expand its user base in price-sensitive markets. However, the company clarified that existing members will not be affected by the change and can still keep their ad-free plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pricing for the new ad-supported tier varies by country, but it is generally more affordable than the previous ad-free Basic plan.
